My favorite part “ Learning the process of actually sitting with my emotion, coping with it, creating containers for it, feeling it through my body instead of trying to write it out or journal it out—…”
Super relatable right now! (learning more that anytime we place our self-worth on something external like a job or income, this stuff is going to come up)
Caitlin, this was read as if you peaked into my mind. Since the burnout (which hit last year), I've been playing around and battling the feeling that I can't work in management any longer. Since the pandemic, the role has expanded to that of "a counsellor", "social worker", and "HR professional", and it is more than I ever signed up for. Yet, your post has spoken to me and made me realise that dealing with my emotions is essential before making any drastic decisions. Thank you for sharing.

And you know where I learned those skills! :)

I hear you! Grateful for the past ten months of all the stuff coming up - a lot digested, some more to go. :)

Such wisdom for yourself, Jana! Glad it helped and cheering you on. :)
Love this insight! TY
“Wherever I go, whatever job I have, if I can sit with uncertainty, it makes everything else easier.”
You're welcome! A good reminder for me to see it here as a quote too. :)
As one of my high school teachers would drill into my head: Remember wherever you go, there you are!
Love that reminder!
