Great points! One that you didn't mention is physical well-being. I used to sometimes get pains or tightness or other issues that would prevent quality sleep. Doing yoga and just generally working on my body helped eliminate (mostly) these issues, which made a BIG difference. Of course, not everyone can do that and some people have chronic problems. But for me, removing some of those physical obstacles made a big difference.

This was fascinating.... I'm also one who needs a lot more sleep in the cold, dark, winter months. It's incredible how our deep mammalian roots still shine through!
