Hey Caitlin! Thanks for this video. Do you have any resources on cold therapy for females? Me and a friend have been doing a weekly ocean dip for ~ 11 minutes. It is very cold! Sometimes we wonder if that is not enough, and sometimes if it is too much, especially as most of the research has been in males. We love it, have been doing it for months and will keep going as it has many physical and mental benefits. But we feel like we are winging it a bit too much in terms of what is beneficial vs harmful.
If I see science based on women, I'll let you know. I would absolutely wonder if it matters depending on hormone levels, time of cycle. I haven't noticed differences for myself. You keep me posted if you see something too, or maybe someone else will chime in!

Love that you have that opportunity! This is a great question. I'm guessing you've already seen the Huberman podcast episode where he talks about 11 minutes total per week? https://www.hubermanlab.com/newsletter/the-science-and-use-of-cold-exposure-for-health-and-performance
