Dr. Kristy McCray is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Sport Sciences at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. She earned her PhD in Sport Management from The Ohio State University and her M.Ed. in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs and BA in Print Journalism and Political Science from the University of Southern California. She uses her previous work experiences in college athletics and as the executive director of a rape crisis center to inform her research on sexual violence prevention in sports. She initially created Fair Play: Sexual Violence Prevention for Athletes from her dissertation research, but it’s based on nearly two decades in the field.
